 [RAR039] Chris Bulman - HydroThermal EP
Chris Bulman is back with his second EP on RAR. Its been a while since his first release, hence his musical approach is much different and his production has mutured quite a bit. Chris Bulman's HydroThermal EP is very mellodic, with great energetic synthetic basslines. All the tracks are nice and uplifting. Great grooving progressive house that is cleverly crafted together with a unique touch and catchy hooks. Chris has upped his game and has put great emphasis on sound quality and track composing. You should take note of the great effort put forth in adding great depth in textures and layers fusing them together to make great musical pieces ready for the dance floor.  [RAR038] AutoAxon - Spiritual Augments EP
Straight out of Chicago, prominent producer and sound artist AutoAxon brings us this great musical gem that falls somewhere at the intersection of ambient synthscapes and entrancing sequences. AutoAxon is very versitile and here he gives us a taste of dubstep and downtempo all fused with ambient electronic soundscapes. The tracks that fit in more the dubstep category, AutoAxon embraces mid-tempo sequencing that cascades prettily and progressively, with a deep low end punctuating the crystalline shimmer. What sticks out the most is AutoAxon's ability to make dramatic electronic music, it is paced well and has ever-changing sequences that feel like gentle showers brushing over the listener's body. AutoAxon is careful to intersperse tracks with many random tones and sounds to keep the listener actively involved. It's a strength that prevents the sequencing from getting too repetitive.
